Black
Nr. 01

A pure black background does not allow any clues on the material used or the potential spatiality of the background. Since the shadows of the object are not visible on a black background, it can be more difficult to recognize the plasticity of the object. Shadows on the edges of the object can optically blur with the black background and thus visually distort the shape of an object.

With a black background, there is no additional information that could distract from the object and the colors of the object appear more saturated.

A deep black background is easiest achieved by the complete absence of light.
